If you’re reading this blog, it means you survived 2021! Congratulations! At Gray Duck Dent, we thrived in 2021 and plan to do the same this year.
Of course, the beginning of the year represents the perfect time for reflection. And as I reflect back, I am so grateful I got into this business. I started about 13 years ago and learned this trade as a tech with Dent Heads.
After honing my skills for years and building my network, I finally decided to hang out my shingle as Gray Duck Dent Repair in October of 2017. I love working with my hands and still consider the actual repairs the most significant part of my business. But now, I’m also involved in the business, marketing, and tool design end of things, and it keeps me plenty busy.

I started Dent Reaper Tools with my own patented design. Now, I have over 30 tools and international customers.
Through my travels to trade shows and other events I’ve learned that the PDR world represents a friendly and supportive community.
Gray Duck Dent loves contributing to charities like Toys for Tots.
Our informative blog gives you PDR and automotive information and ideas for road trips and how PDR makes sense for the environment.
I started the PDR Dents and Dreams Podcast to contribute to the PDR community.
COVID-19 presented a challenge to many businesses. A Gray Duck Dent, we overcame the obstacles by following the protocols and offering our customers no contact service at their homes.
What does the future hold?
In 2022, I’m committed to designing the best tools and coming up with even better techniques to make sure your vehicle looks its best. And, when you call Gray Duck Dent, you know your dents, dings, and hail damage will get taken care of in a cost-effective and environmentally friendly manner.
I'm looking forward to all kinds of adventures this year! But, as cold as the start of 2022 has been, you know I can't wait to get to the MTE Expo at the end of this month in sunny Orlando, Florida!
